We are currently recruiting for the following position:

Finance Officer

Hours: Full Time 37.5 hrs pw
Location: Stratford – Head Office

Salary: £24,000 to £26,000 depending on experience.

We are seeking a meticulous and solution driven individual to undertake and be responsible for the bank reconciliations and liquidity profile for LCCU
on an on-going basis.

You will actively support the Head of Finance in the enhancement of the financial control environment and the overall management of the accounting function.

In branch
We are always looking for skilled in-branch volunteers to assist with the day-to-day running of the organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands on skills and work experience, with the opportunity to gain recognised NVQ qualification Level 2 or 3 in Business Administration and Customer Service.

Volunteers will be asked to commit at least 3 days a week, and will be given a ‘branch buddy’ within the Credit Union.

In the community

Workplace Champions help promote the credit union within the workplace and link up the work of the organisations. This is a very flexible role, supported by Credit Union staff.

On the committees
The credit union is governed by a series of voluntary committees, from the Credit Committee to the Board of Directors. Anybody interested in volunteering time to be on these committees should get in touch with the Board Administrator.
